Are there any physical requirements?
A good physical condition always helps in any sport. You cannot Scuba dive 24 hours before your jump. If you are taking any medication, consult your doctor.
Is there a weight limit?
Any jump is subject to an instructor deeming a person is of acceptable form to complete a skydive. The Harness must be able to fit appropriately to ensure safety on the jump. We will never compromise the safety of our first-time jumpers or instructors.
In general, anyone under 200lbs can make a Tandem skydive. Anyone over 200lbs is subject to an instructor evaluation/harness fitting and will incur an additional fee:
200-219lbs: $20
220-250lbs: $47
Do you feel vertigo when you jump?
No, when we jump the plane is already in motion. The speed at which we exit and at which we increase is minimal. The sensation of free fall is actually like flying or floating. The sensation of a drop or bungee effect does not apply.
Is the parachute opening hard?
The parachutes are designed to open softly and smoothly, our parachute packers are professionals and have all the skills to ensure smooth openings.
Can I take pictures with my camera?
Non certified Cameras are not allowed for security and safety reasons. If recording your experience is important to you please ask our office about having a trained videographer join you on your jump. Cell phones, loose jewelry or any object that could fall during the jump is not permitted at the risk of injuring someone.
How long does the whole activity last?
Two to three hours per jump from check-in is standard however always think that it can last up to half a day depending on weather, air traffic and other delays.
